The Minis: Adeline Ania - Marketing Muse
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
I think my greatest accomplishment is one of my first ones - learning to speak English fluently. My parents stressed the importance of that so much when we arrived in America, and being able to speak, read, and write as well as I do is something I will always be proud of.
What is the most beautiful place you've ever been?
This is so difficult to answer, especially as I've been traveling more frequently over the past year. I think, for the time being, I would say San Francisco. My partner is based in the Bay Area so I visit often, and I took a two-week long course in Muir Woods as well. Being in such close proximity to the ocean is so breathtaking and even walking down the house-lined streets feels more like being on a film set than in reality.
What's a great book you've read recently?
The last three books I read that I really loved were Men Explain Things to Me by Rebecca Solnit, Slouching Towards Bethlehem by Joan Didion, and How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are. I also just started Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald by Therese Anne Fowler that I'm incredibly excited for.
What's your favorite time of day?
Early early mornings when it feels as though the rest of the world is still asleep. There's a quiet and a stillness to my surroundings that I greatly appreciate during that time.
If you could be anywhere else right now, where would it be?
With my other half, always.
