Views from the Cambridge Photo Tour

I first heard about The Glossary’s photo tour through my coworker Lauren. The idea of the event certainly peaked my interest - but did I really want to bother my coworker with my presence on the weekend? (Moreover, did I really want to wake up before 10 am on a Saturday?) However, I had recently been flirting with the idea of opening a small business some time in the future, and as freelance photographer, it was hard for me to deny the need to go. And I’m very glad I did.

The morning consisted of great conversation, inspiring photo opportunities, and an incredible look into the livelihoods of the women who owned the businesses we visited. It was one of the most supportive and creative environments I have stepped into in a long time.

This collection of photos comes from my point of view during the day. I frequently focus on spaces and objects more often than people in my personal work; I love to seek out the interest in the overlooked corners of different environments. I hope you enjoy the images I captured that day.
